Greece is one of the most beautiful spots on earth with unreal images.  It is the land of sunshine and electric blue seas, which  pushes many foreign celebrities to acquire their own vacation residences on Greek islands.

In Nothernern Corfu or “the Monaco of Greece”, as the area from Agios Stephanos to Kassiopi and Nisaki is nicknamed, the famous house of  banker Nathaniel Rothschild sits.  Rothschild and his family and friends visit his vacation residence regularly.  The famous villas of Agnelli and Abramovic near Rothschild’s mansion are internationally known. Between Aghios Stephanos and Avlaki beach lies the property of British former Junior Health Minister Tom Sackville.  Local real estate agencies claim that Bruce Willis is seeking his own paradise villa in the same area.

On Santorini Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt recently acquired their own residence with breathtaking views of one of the island’s hot spots the “Caldera”. Rumor has it that Silvio Berlusconi and Jack Nickolson are looking  for their special spot on the island as well.

Tom Hanks and his Greek American wife Rita Wilson purchased a residence on Antiparos island, just off the coast of well-known island at the heart of the Cyclades, Paros.   Rowan Atkinson, known as “Mr. Bean” has stated repeatedly his love for the island of Andros.

The island of St.John, Patmos generally attracts celebrities seeking peace and quiet. “Pretty Woman” Julia Roberts and her movie partner Richard Gere believe that the tranquil atmosphere is ideal for meditation.  Gere is a devout Buddhist.

Formula 1 ace Michael Schumacher is interested in buying a villa on Elaffonisos. Vladimir Putin and Sean Connery both chose a peaceful spot with natural beauty in Porto Heli. 

Last but not least Madonna, who is adored by millions of people around the world claimed that the Ionian atmosphere of Cephallonia captured her and pushed her to find a house there. Designer Armani opted for Onassis’ private paradise, Skorpios island.
